Sonaca Aircraft, the new European reference of general aviation, will be present at the Paris Air Expo show (Booth F110) which takes place from June 2nd till 4th in Pontoise-Cormeilles Airport. Every year, the show brings together the main actors of general aviation in order to introduce the latest industrial developments and innovations.

The sales launch of the Sonaca 200 bodes well for its future. "After two months of prospection in
Western Europe, we sold 14 aircrafts and the order book fills up progressively. We aim at pursuing our
approach of the European market by the end of the summer 2016".

The new reference of aviation training Sonaca 200 impresses users and generates pre-orders.
In late 2015, the Sonaca group announced the creation of the subsidiary “Sonaca Aircraft” dedicated to the development, certification and market launch of a new training aircraft named Sonaca 200. The two-seater single-engine, specifically designed for pilots’ training and leisure flights, is currently under certification.

We look forward to meeting you at our stand (Hall/Stand No. A5-141) and to informing you about our aircraft Sonaca 200.
Most of our team will be present during the show.
See you there!

Last September, the aerospace supplier Belgian Sonaca decided to extend its expertise in the field of general aviation through the creation of a new subsidiary: Sonaca Aircraft. The first objective of this new company is to develop and certify a new aircraft, a two-seat specially adapted for training and leisure flights.
The certification of this aircraft is well underway. Beside the Type Certification of the aircraft, we have also applied for a DOA (Design Organization Approval) and a POA (Production Organization Approval).

In order to make swift progress on the development of the certification aircraft we decided to join forces with a foreign partner to take advantage of an existing structure and adapted to the needs encountered.
This arrangement allows us to continue meetings in the airfield across Europe with the aim to properly refine our technical specifications based on the demonstration aircraft and also to obtain initial feedback from its aerodynamic behavior in flight.

To fully understand the needs in the general aviation sector, we met the last months, a lot of flight school, aero clubs and pilots through France, England, Germany, Canada and Belgium.
These meetings allowed us to establish the needs and the technical requirements for development of such a plane and avoid the mistakes not to commit.
